Rubistar - Create Rubrics for your Project-Based Learning Activities (site edited between 2000-2008)

This rubric website allows teachers to make rubrics right on the website. If they register, they are able to save and edit the rubrics right on the site. There are many subjects they can create rubrics for, including oral projects, multimedia, math, and writing.

This particular rubric website allows teachers to share their work with others at the touch of a button. Not only can you access rubrics on your work computer or tablet, but it also can be used on a smartphone. (A fee is charged but data is saved)

This website is actually a comprehensive education management system that has a section that teachers can use to build, edit, or revise rubrics. It has a Personal Edition that which a teacher can use for free, and it has an Enterprise Edition with more options that schools can purchase for their teachers to use.

This site gives an introduction on how to prepare portfolios for your students. It gives the pros and cons of portfolio assessments. It states that portfolio assessments are good if you want students to be more active in their learning and that this caters to a wide variety of learners.
