Anti Aging Clinic Research Paper
An anti-aging clinic can be your new best friend, but since each person is unique, the super anti-aging techniques for one may not work for another. Aging is inevitable, and impossible to stop, but there are ways to slow the process. Cosmetic procedures can do a lot to remove signs of aging, but true anti-aging is more than skin deep. A good anti-aging clinic may offer fitness experts, weight-loss programs, dietitians, nutritionists, and mind-body experts.

In the United States there is in extremely high rate of incarceration and mass imprisonment. Policies and ideas for change are being brought to the table on a daily basis. Is it worth it? Is the question that we always have to ask ourselves and will justice truly be served at the end of the day. Well throughout this course I have found that there is never a true solution to crime rates in general only ideas to decrease problems that have yet to stop rising. For example, the War on Drugs in the early 1980’s and the “broken window” policy in the mid 1970’s are both examples of putting water on the fire but never putting the fire completely out. Older adults often work with their spouses who need to be cared for due to long term illnesses up until their death, as well as grandchildren and foster children. Many older people take care of their grandchildren because their own children have to go to work or because they have been granted custody due to abuse or incarceration of their children. Many older people who have been given the responsibility of raising another child so late in their life are faced with additional health issues, psychological stress, and social isolation. It is often very stressful for someone who is older to have to be a caregiver because they are already dealing with other stresses of old age such as losing their spouses, not having a lot of energy, and worrying about their own health.…

In a society where racism seems to often take the media by storm, a lesser-known, yet somewhat similar concept also involving stereotypes and prejudices, may be equally present. This term is known as ageism. McMinn (1996) defines ageism as the “prejudice and negative description of older people who have been so categorized because they are old. Ageism involves the use of negative stereotypes of both the process of aging and of those who are seen as aged” (p. 27). Some ageist views may include that old people are grumpy, confused, a burden, or a lost cause. In today’s world, where the age group of those 85-99 years old is most rapidly increasing, ageism is about to become an even bigger problem. These individuals have different needs and are…
