Anti Oppressive Practice
Positive action tries to make it easy for people from different backgrounds, to access education, employment and other services which would have been traditionally impossible for them to. It serves to educate others and assists to reach productive goals.

Anti-oppressive practice is an approach that is used in Social Work, it focuses on trying to end socioeconomic inequalities and develop plans to create a society free from oppression and any other forms of discrimination. Anti-oppressive practice regulates any potential oppressive operations and ‘helps in delivering welfare services in an inclusive manner, (Strier, 2006)
