Promoting Anti Discriminatory Practice

The purpose of the act is to allow action to be taken in necessary situations to make sure that people with mental health difficulties including learning difficulties get the care as well as the treatment they need for their health, safety including the safety of others. However, the way it promotes anti-discriminatory practice is to ensure that all people with mental health difficulties or learning difficulties get the correct health care and treatment for their safety or others safety regardless of their disability. For example, in the community care the Meantal Health Act helps promote anti-discriminatory practice by giving the staff understanding of what to do if they are worried about a service users mental
