Strong people stand up for themselves, but stronger people stand up for others. This quote relates to Antigone because she stands up for what is right and shows no fear or hesitation to say what she thinks is right which is to bury your brother because without doing that they will not rest and you dishonor them.

The character Antigone is a great example of bravery and courage. When she tells the king that she buried her brother without stuttering it proved that she had no shame in telling the truth. She showed that she cared deeply for her brothers bury, and showed that death cannot make her change her mind or lie. This story demonstrates how much care she has for her brother and would do anything for her family. Antigone is a great example

    Antigone uses rhetorical questions, logos, and parenthesis to frame her argument. Antigone is more than willing to admit she has buried her brother's body. In the line, "Of course I did it. It wasn't Zeus, not in the least, who made this proclamation—not to me," Antigone both admits it, and shows us her thought through parenthesis—her thoughts being that it is stupid.
