Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD)is a pervasive pattern of disregard for and violation of the rights of others (American Psychiatric Association, 2013, DSM-V). An antisocial individual tends to engage in behaviours that breaks the rules and the law, such as, stealing, fighting, and destroying property. They show a lack of remorse or guilt for harming others. Individuals can be manipulative and deceitful, irritable and aggressive, irresponsible, impulsive as they fail to plan ahead, and reckless for themselves and the safety of others (DSM-V, 2013).
