Executive Summary
History
Ever since Apple Inc. was established, they never had a straight way to reach success, but today Apple. Inc is the one of the largest and most successful technological companies around the world. Their main key to success is that they have a good management team that is led by founder Mr. Steve Job. They have had some issues that may have had some bad influence to their recent success, such as gross margins that were not increasing despite falling component prices, but they announced that Apple’s management team is dealing with those circumstances and finding a way to solve those problems.
Industry Analysis
Even though Apple Inc. makes their majority of profit from their non-computer products such as the iPod and iPhone the company still consider their main product to be the computer. The computer industry is doing a good job because consumers are more likely to use computers in their daily lives. Computer manufactures earn $75 billion per year and Apple Inc., HP, IBM, and Microsoft are the leading companies who are competing to make the best computer.
Company & SWOT Analysis
Apple Inc is the second largest computer manufacturing company and the biggest brand loyalty receiver from costumers. The most important strength Apple has is their design quality and innovation of a new product. The current popular products such as the Ipod, Iphone and Macbook series brought them a huge success to them and these products are replacing Apple’s competitors’ products. Competitors The ability to continuously developments and improvements to their products is the key reason why Apple Inc. keeps their success. There are a lot of competitors to Apple Inc. because of their wide manufacturing industry such as, personal computers and operating system. There are three major computer manufacturing companies who compute with Apple such as; Dell Inc, HP Inc. and Microsoft Corporation.
