Application Essay: A Career As An FBI Agent
All of my life I have always wanted to become a police officer mainly because my dad was. Well, that changed about 2 years ago when in seventh grade I discovered my interest in the FBI. At first I didn’t know what the FBI did or even what branch it was in but now I have a clear understanding of some of the basics that I have gathered over the period of two years from following FBI stories online (such as fbi.gov) to reading about the history of the FBI. The reason I would like to be a part of the FBI Youth Leadership Academy because later in my life, I would like to apply to be an FBI Special Agent. I think this job would fit me the best because I enjoy helping people in any way I can. I think would also like to be an FBI agent because I also really like working with computers. I noticed on the FBI website I saw that that the FBI also handles cyber crime. I would like to know more about that unit because when I apply for the Special Agent Position when I am 23 I would like work in a cyber crime unit. There is nothing I hate more than what cyber crime leads up to and I know that is nothing good.

Whether that would be becoming a special agent or a computer scientist. I have noticed the possibilities when working for the FBI are endless. By using the skills learned from the Youth Leadership Academy, I could help my school by using the skills from the Youth Leadership Academy and become a leader for my school. I can become a leader for my school if there is a situation like my classmates and I had to complete a school project and no one was working. I can speak up and start taking charge of the situation.
