After Nick and Sam return to the suite from the Boardroom, Bill suggest that maybe Sam should be project manager for this next task. Bill believes that it is time for Sam to prove himself by leading the team to victory or he will be a total failure and then they will not have to put up with him anymore. Jessie is chosen as project manager for this task and decides to call for a group meeting for Protégé Corporation to try and address the tension between team members especially between Erika and Omarosa. Jessie believes that conflict between member will affect the progress of the team. Katrina added she was disgusted by the behavior of several group members and that the team had not been conducting themselves in a professional manner. Omarosa was offended by Katrinas comment and decided thats she did not want to be a part of the group meeting as she believed that she was being attacked and decided to walk away.

The following morning, Donald Trump asks for both teams to meet him at the Westchester Airport where their next task will be assigned. Donald explains the importance of negotiation and provides both teams with instructions to their next task, where they will need to negotiate the best price for a list of items assigned to each team.

Versacorp elected Sam as the project manager, where he decided to treat the task as a day in a football game. Making Bill, Kwame, and Bowie the field players. While Nick would be the cheerleader, Troy the kicker and Sam the coach. Nick, Troy and Sam were back at the office conducting research on where it would be the best places to find the items on the list. As the field team waited to hear from Sam they decided to make their first stop in Chinatown

Marseille must make a decision regarding the future of Skadurz Pro and its two retail stores. Joel’s mother (who is acting as a manager at one location) is retiring, a major competitor is opening a store near one Skadurz Pro location, and the building the second location is in is being sold by the owner. Joel must decide whether to manage both Skadurz locations himself, close one of the stores and manage just one location (and if this option is chosen, which location should be kept? The location nearest a competitor or the one that would require Joel buy the building it is in?), or to sell the entire business. Joel's objective is to choose the option that will yield the greatest long term profits and personal satisfaction, and to do it as quickly as possible because time is money.…

    | 1. I think Rachel did a great job as project manager and she managed her day very well. She arrived early to work to get an early start to the day. Even though she is clearly busy early in the day she makes enough time for her boss to discuss progress with the project. She is also a good team player because she helped Victoria get back on track perhaps by letting Victoria work with their personnel a little longer. Although it took her a while to get to it, she replied to all her emails and phone calls. Even though there was a minor obstacle that she learned about in the meeting, she stayed calm and got it resolved by contacting John and then going over to Mary's office to discuss the issue. It was a very hectic day and I believe it was a wise decision to shut the door to relax and listen to some music for a short period just to get her head back in the game. She gave everyone who wanted to talk to her all the time they needed with her and that will help everyone involved. She also stayed late to go over a few more things and go talk to her boss to fill him in with the days activities and progress. 2. The one thing it tells me for sure is that being project manager is a very hectic job. It clearly takes all that a person has to do such a difficult and fast paced job. Coming in to work early and staying at work much later than everyone else is the minimum a person can do. The project manger has many responsibilities that the rest of team doesn't, all the personnel have to do is get their task for the day and complete it, but the project manager not only has to assign these individual tasks but also manage the progress and deal with any unforeseen obstacles that may arise. The project manager has to keep everything on track and running smoothly, and Rachel has been doing a good job of it.…

Hoover was only thwarted from breaking the firm American tradition of laissez-faire during a depression by the fact that the severe but short-lived depression of 1920-21 was over soon after he took office. He also faced some reluctance on the part of Harding and the Cabinet. As it was, however, Hoover organized a federal committee on unemployment, which supplied unemployment relief through branches and subbranches to every state, and in numerous cities and local communities. Furthermore, Hoover organized the various federal, state, and municipal governments to increase public works, and persuaded the biggest business firms, such as Standard Oil of New Jersey and United States Steel, to increase their expenditure on repairs and construction. He also persuaded employers to spread unemployment by cutting hours for all workers instead of discharging the marginal workers – an action he was to repeat in the 1929 Depression.(4) Hoover called for these interventionist measures with an analogy from the institutions of wartime planning and collaboration, urging that Americans develop “the same spirit of spontaneous cooperation in…

With an equal number of men and women shoppers we should charge $70 for the simple microwave and $139 for the microwave with auto-defrost. This will help us maximize our revenues at $209 per pair sold. This gives female shoppers a value surplus of $10 on the simple microwave but a value surplus of $11 on the microwave with defrost while maximizing value for the simple microwave for men. If women are the bulk of our shoppers we may sell only the model with defrost for the full value of $150 but we need to ensure that we do not cannibalize our sales below our mixed product sales.…
