The American revolution was a truly revolutionary war for the American society. It was the start of the U.S truly becoming a country as it broke away from Britain and stopped being a colony. The Revolutionary war truly shaped how
America would be for some time and how the people would view their country for years to come. The Revolutionary war truly inspired many Americans to fight for their freedom and to shape how they believed their country should be. The Revolutionary war truly was the war where Americans fought for their natural rights and to break away from Britain. Before the revolutionary war many Americans rebelled against Britain in many ways. As stated in document 3 “ We then were ordered by our commander to open the hatches and take out all the chests of tea and throw them overboard”. This act was known as the Boston Tea party this was when
Americans rebelled against the tax on tea by throwing the tea into the water. This shows that during the revolution Americans were able to unite against Britain. Another piece of evidence that shows how the revolution was able to unite many Americans is in document 7 “Society in every state is a blessing, but government even in its best state is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one”. This is a quote from the book common sense this book was written during the revolution in order to tell Americans their natural right, but one thing that stands out from this book is that it was written in a way that all Americans could understand it. Lastly the impact of the revolution on the people is depicted in document 2 this image shows British soldiers firing on civilians. This was a political cartoon used to show how Britain was mistreating colonist and to rally the colonist against Britain. The author is displaying that the British are mass murdering colonist in Boston to show that without a doubt the colonist are

Both were mainly populated by people of English origin, and yet the differences between the two colonies were significant and evident. These major differences can be traced to the varying motives for colorizations, the types of settlers, the geography and climate of the new world, and the different philosophies and views of the colonies.…

Throughout the history of the United States of America, the American Revolutionary War was undoubtedly the event that was most impactful and decisive towards the ultimate fate of this country. Without it, this country wouldn’t have seen its formation in the first place. It began in the 1750’s and 1760’s, when British colonists who settled in the 13 colonies became fed up with British rule, taxation, and laws set on them.
