Drinking at an early age has been an ongoing discussion among young Americans and their opponents, their parents and, elders. Much adolescence believe that setting the drinking age at 21 does not make any difference, and it should even be lowered to 18, as many other countries hold. Even though there is no proof that not legalizing drinking age at 21 genuinely makes a difference, US should not lower the drinking age, and should maintain it at 21 years old.
In their pamphlet and website, the National Youth Rights Association claims that United States should lower the drinking age from 21 to a younger age. They claim that at the age of 18, youth are able vote, serve their country and fly airplane. Therefore, they should be able to drink as well, since it is has less responsibility associated with it.
The majority of the staff operating the National Youth Rights Association is young adults at the age of 19. They do not hold a credible opinions as it may seem they are interested in this cause to benefit their personal lives and therefore trying to persuade others to vote for their cause.

These young people under 21 are not immature children; they are proud American soldiers, many of whom have paid the ultimate sacrifice” ("Support Our Troops", 2011). This is not a form of support in their claims, just another way to make the readers alter their opinions and drive them to the position the National Youth Rights Association believes
