Did you know playing football in high school/college is harmful? Playing football in high school/college can be very harmful by being injured a lot which in other terms ending your football career. If you end your career you can’t play anymore. You can’t play anymore because of the injury. youth sports are harmful because of sport injuries, better resources, and less physically mature.
Youth sports are helpful because of youth development,, school sports being justified, and it benefits students. Even knowing football can be harmful it can also be helpful at the same time. First, Sport injuries. According to the text, “Based on almost 1,900 injury reports submitted to the RIO, the researchers
estimate there were 517,726 football-related injuries during the 2005-2006 season at the high school level across the United States.” Next, Better resources. The author states, “It’s possible that such schools have better resources and equipment than less well-funded schools, she said.” Finally, Less physically mature. According to the text, High school athletes are less physically mature and have less muscle mass than collegiate athletes, for instance.”
In conclusion, youth sports are harmful because of sport injuries, better resources, and less physically mature. Parents should also help their children by ensuring that they maintain a healthy physical condition year-round. It is important to let your child(ren) know that you support them.
