Some misconceptions that people can have about Park 51 would be that many people may feel alluded because the location of the center is close to the Ground Zero, and as Bobby Gosh wrote in the Magazine: “some people say it would be an insult to those who died on 9/11”. In other words, some people suggest that the location should be in a less controversial space.
Some common misconceptions about Islam and Muslims are: to think that all Muslims are responsible for the 09/11 attack occurred at New York City in 2001. Due to that, many people around the world show antipathy towards Muslims.
