Argumentative Essay: Radio Free Catholic Education
22nd of August, despite being a Monday, turned out to be the day that an exclusive episode of the popular Republic Program sponsored podcast, Radio Free Catholic Education, or RFCE, was broadcasted to the public during the morning hours. As commonly expected from everyone who listened to the show for the past few years it had been broadcasting, the voice of former Republic Program Representative (and secretly, a BCA and Coalition member) Beatrice Peterson conducted her usual routine. [Voice of Beatrice Peterson]: “Ladies and Gentleman, boys and girls of the Greater American Catholic School System, you are listening to RFCE – Radio Free Catholic Education. I am your stalwart host, Beatrice, and this 22nd of August is one of our exclusive episodes. Coming to you all live from the Catholic Diocese of Las Vegas, we take you straight to the news for this Monday morning… Las Vegas police, in addition to federal counterparts, are still stumped over …show more content…

“Look, the reason why the Archdiocese moved the date four dates ahead was because of a dead student, whose body was ‘mysteriously’ found at the grounds of Archbishop Webster,” she explained. “The body belonged to an Archbishop Webster student by the name of Eric Holt, otherwise notoriously known by many in the Dweller world as the ‘Butcher of Forgotten Hamlet.’” The stoplight up ahead suddenly turned green, and she controlled to drive as usual. “Why was he killed?” wondered Brenda. She replied, recalling the details, “Holt was a mass-murderer, a drug smuggler and an enforcer for the Ludwig Crime Family, one of the four families in the Dweller Mob. He and his men probably killed as many as two hundred Dwellers, most the deaths occurred in or around a Dweller city called ‘Forgotten Hamlet’, hence the name.” “Does the Archbishop, his family or anyone in the Children’s Paradise aware of his activities since the past several months?” Brenda

The Edward’s Case opened in mid-March. The town was recovering from a long, cold, and difficult winter; the blanketed corpse of the Old Man had only just begun to fade away. The morning air was crisp, and a nimbus shadow veiled the town below. The trees were emerging from their wintry tombs, stretching their limbs in the breeze, awakening from their slumber. It was under this early vernal landscape that young Benjamin had vanished and that Mr. Cunningham had…

The decline in religious vocations, falling mass attendance, married clergy, female ordination and the role of the laity are all issues contributing to the challenges of the Australian Catholic Church. Ordinary mass attendances have gone down by 50-60 percent in the 1960s to just about 15 percent in 2001.…

From his struggle of finding his call, to taking on a parent role, and being one of the most renowned names in the cigar world, his life reveals that he is more than just a casual priest. A stocky, six foot five man dressed in black with a Roman collar definitely stands out in a crowd, but what truly sets him apart is his journey to priesthood and his charismatic personality. He truly is an interesting person, which led him to be my subject for this interview.…
