The first reason why I believe that the US should not of it is because many innocent people are affected. As stated by history.com, “along with an estimated 500 Panamanian civilians died”. This is significant because if the US invades another country then it is most likely to occur again. This is so because the United States went in and invaded the country which and affect many civilians that had nothing to do with the invasion and they create chaos amongst the civilians. Another article By Greg Grandin stated, “As Human Rights Watch wrote, even conservative estimates of civilian fatalities suggested "that the rule of proportionality and the duty to minimize harm to civilians… were not faithfully observed by the invading US forces”. As stated by the film “Panama deception”, “ the United States spent about 3 million US tax dollars”. This is significant because the United States spent so much money on weapons aircrafts bombs etc just to try to capture one person. Instead of spending so much money in trying to capture one person when instead the United States should spend money on the schools worldwide or help people that are going through a crisis. This is the second reason why I believe that the United States shouldn't invade Latin American countries in general since it cost a huge amount of
