I feel that art is important, but its value is intangible. The more unique the art, the higher its value to our intellectual heritage. Art is unique and rare. It is a part of culture and history. There is only one original painting or sculpture. And if it is stolen, there won't be a second one. Art is an important part of our lives… and I’m happy that I enjoy it. Moreover, I am glad I appreciate the act of conjuring artistic creations. There is no broad value to any specific piece of artwork in this world. Artist's techniques have changed over time and a piece of art can capture the transition from one style to the next or the time period when advancement occurred. Art is valued around the world because it has been part of us throughout our history. We know that art supersedes before written language. Ancient carvings and cave-wall paintings attest to an early drive to participate in artistic endeavors. Art is a human thing. No other species pays more attention to aesthetics than we. It is a quality which we indulge at every level of the "Arts". Art shows examples for history, how man has adorned his life with the neat pretties and fashions of the time.
