However Merlin warned Arthur that getting married with Guinevere will bring misery to himself and his kingdom of Camelot. Arthur was so infatuated with Guinevere that he ignored Merlin's warning and wed Guinevere anyway. Arthur's one true tragic flaw was marrying Guinevere even after being warned by Merlin, he gave into the temptation of pursuing a women in which he assumed he loved at first sight. Despite Merlin's warning of misery, Arthur and Guinevere get married and on their wedding day Merlin dispels another warning he informs Arthur that one of his three sisters from his mother Igraine is evil. According to documentary of King Arthur: Life and Legend, “His half sister Morgaine La Fey brought a child to his wedding, in which, Arthur will later discover was actually his son and Morgaine has sent someone to seduce him so that his child could be used as weapon against him.” Even though Arthur was happy with his marriage to Guinevere, soon enough Gwenorive trades off to one of Arthur’s knights, Sir Lancelot. There is always a consequence weather good or bad consequences are inevitable. Merlin's warning of marrying Guinevere went unheard and Arthur soon discovers that Sir Lancelot was smitten by his wife. Guinevere runs off to Lancelot which is one of Arthur's punishments for not listening to Merlin's words of wisdom.
