Artifact Speech

I. Introduction

A.Attention Getter: How many of you like to travel? How many of you wish that you had all the time and money to travel around the world? I considered myself privilege to have the opportunity to visit different countries of the world. Some of the countries that I have visited include Japan, Singapore, Canada and the United States.

B.Thesis Statement: This globe represents different countries I have visited and the countries I have yet to see. This globe also represents my desire to seek and acquire knowledge beyond the boundaries of my own country. This globe serves as a reminder of where I came from and where I am now.

C.Preview Main Points:

1.First, I will explain how this globe represents the different countries I have visited and the countries I have yet to see.
2.Secondly, I will describe how the globe represents my desire to seek and acquire knowledge beyond the boundaries of my country.
3.Lastly, I will discuss how this globe will serve as a reminder to me of where I came from and where I am now. II.Body

A. I have always loved to travel. 1. As a young child I always dream of visiting places like America, Australia, New Zealand, Greece, Israel and many more. I would spend hours in the library reading books about other countries and looking at the globe trying to figure out where these places are. 2. I started traveling when I was in high school. I started my quest for traveling by visiting places closes to my hometown and as I grew older I increased the distant of my destination. a. By the time I was in college I was hooked and I started visiting other countries. Then, I got married to a man who shares the passion for travel like I do. We have visited almost every state in North America.
