The Health and Safety Executive with local authorities (and other enforcing authorities) is responsible for enforcing the Act and a number of other Acts and Statutory Instruments relevant to the working environment. (HSE website – www.hse.gov.uk/legistaltion/hswa.htm) | 1.1b | Personal Protective Equipment Regulations 1992 (PPE)This piece of regulation governs the requirements for affording protection to its workforce that protects them against one or more risks to their health and safety.
