OUR ORGANIZATION
The UP Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (UP JPIA) is a duly recognized student organization of the UP Cesar E.A. Virata School of Business powered by over 300 dedicated members. It takes pride as the first and only student organization to be inducted in the UP Gawad Chanselor Hall of Fame for the Most Outstanding Student Organization in UP Diliman and the three-time Most Outstanding and Most Productive Local Chapter of the National Federation of JPIA. It is also a recipient of the 2009 Quezon City Youth Achiever’s Award and a finalist in the Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations (TAYO). For the past 54 years, UPJPIA has launched various seminars and tutorials to hone students’ skills in the field of business. In 2003, UPJPIA [raised the bar, stepped another notch, went further, reached new heights] when it pioneered the first Accountancy Students’ Seminar and Extra-curricular Training (ASSET) – a comprehensive national seminar geared towards developing the potentials of the future leaders in management, accounting, and finance. ASSET has been recognized during the 5thGawad NCR as the Best Coordinated Non-Academic Activity (Local Chapter) for 2009 and the 7th Gawad NCR as the Best Coordinated Non-Academic Activity (Local Chapter) for 2009.
OUR INVITATION
This September 13-16, 2013, UPJPIA shall hold the 11th ASSET and continue its initiative to provide a value-adding seminar to the Top 50 accountancy students all over the country. We proudly invite your local chapter to be part of this endeavor.
