Attitudes on Abortion
There are positive and negative points of view, when it comes to the topic of abortion. This is why I made the choice to speak on the issue. My opinion on abortion is that I feel that it should be illegal people should not have the choice to terminate the pregnancy. Other deep feeling against, women getting an abortion is that it’s not something GOD would want, children are a blessing no matter what the circumstances are. Everyone knows that having unprotected sex, leads to pregnancy so why should a woman terminate the pregnancy just because they are irresponsible. That is the reason why I decided to use the two articles because they state the positive and negative views of the topic. The first article speaks on the different views and choices you have, people that are against abortion are called “pro-life” but the people that feel it’s a woman’s choice on what she does with her body is called “pro-choice”. In my opinion I feel that a fetus is a human after just a few weeks, so once you terminate the pregnancy its murder. In the article it states that many people feel the same way when it comes to terminating the pregnancy where other feel that it’s a women’s choice. But I also feel that A father should have say so when it comes to terminating the pregnancy, I mean if a father can say whether or not the women could put the baby up for adoption why can’t his voice be heard when it comes to something so serious. The second article is basically stating the views of people that are against abortion. They feel that abortion is against GOD and his creation, which I feel the same way about it. Another thing is that they feel that life starts the moment of conception, which I feel the same way. I feel that the fetus is a human in a matter of a few weeks. Which if you decide to terminate the pregnancy then that is murder. After fully researching my opinion, I have learned a lot. The first thing is that many people have strong feelings towards abortion, whether

Many people believe that abortions should be legal because women should have the right to choose whether or not they want to bring a baby into the world. They believe a woman should have property rights which include the body and the fetus. They also believe a woman should have privacy rights which means the state should not interfere with private matters. These people are called pro choice. At the same time many people are anti-abortion because they believe “Life is present from the moment of conception” (526). In Don Marquis’s essay, “Why Abortion is Immoral” he takes the position that abortion is “morally unjustified” (525). The purpose of the essay is to go against the belief that “The anti-abortion position is either a symptom of irrational religious dogma or a conclusion generated by seriously confused philosophical argument” (525). Abortions should be illegal because they are morally wrong except, in cases beyond our control.…

The readers are supposed to get disgusted with the Supreme Court for dragging its feet and also be against abortion at the same time, also in the other article there supposed to be for the right to make a choice in my opinion. It appears that the writers want the readers to take action immediately. And also hate the democrats, or any person against their view for this opposition.…

Personally, I think that any form of abortion is tantamount to murder, and should never be permitted. This article only brings to my attention that women who wish to have abortions are only concerned for themselves, as the argument is based upon the health of the woman. Although the author’s argument may be valid concerning some facets of the issue, I believe the focus of the subject should shift from the mother to the living creature inside and its right to…

These two opposing viewpoints are very instructive. One label, “pro-life,” points our attention towards the fetus, while “pro-choice” emphasizes on the pregnant woman. Each of these moral issues explains different viewpoints for the principal focus of moral concern. These two moral viewpoints examines the issues of the moral status of the fetus, criteria of personhood (where one criterion is being conceived by humans), the rights of the pregnant women; the right to privacy, the right to ownership of one’s own body, the right to equal treatment and the right to self-determination, and the other moral considerations like the concerns of feminists about abortion, as well as abortion and…

‘’ The Effects of Abortion,’’ talked about just the women and all the types of effects they go through after abortions. For example, ‘’ abortions affect women physically, emotionally, and spiritually’’ (Tanimu 2013). ‘’ The Effects of Abortions on men,’’ mentioned how abortions have serious emotional harm to some women and how abortions affects men. For example, ‘’while a male is expected to be strong, abortion makes him feel weak’’ (Rue, Tellefsen 1996). I suspected the effects of women after abortions, but do not forget about the withdrawals of men. Each of the points of view that was picked which was, ‘’The Effect of Abortion’’ & ‘’The Effect of Abortion on men’’. Both articles were great to read for information on why people have the withdrawals they do after abortions. That is because each article got their point across that they were trying to make about the effects on men and women after abortion. Each point of views explained all of the emotional, physical, spiritually effects. Both point of views were solid and talked about the same effects that a woman would have. But the point of view of women only thought that abortions are dealing with women and not men. There is where the argument comes in at. The article about the other point of view about the men mentioned that men are excluded when they really should not be. The point of view of ‘’ The Effects of Abortion on men’’ were the best argument, because it talked about both withdrawals of men, women, and the comparison of all the withdrawals. That article had much strength and could really persuade someone that is what the other point of view did not have much of. ‘’The Effects of Abortion’’ had weakness because they only focused on the women and not men. But it was a good point of view if someone wanted to know about the effects of women after abortion. Both point of views helped in…

The debate over whether abortion should be legal and to what point in the pregnancy it should be allowed has polarized many societies. Many religious preach that at the moment of conception, the new life is human and possesses a soul. Therefore, abortion is murder. Other, less extreme views, suggest the life is not human until there is a recognizable "completion of form." A third view proposes we have an obligation to create a good life for all children already born before we bring more unwanted children into the world.…

The two articles that were pro-choice focused inclusively on how the laws of abortion effect women considering or choosing to have an abortion, and how abortion is in some cases sought to be a better option as a whole. Many states require for the mother to look at an ultrasound, hear the heartbeat, and wait twenty-four hours after their appointment to make their decision. They do this not to necessarily change their minds, but to let the mother know there is a living being inside of them and it gives them time to make sure this is the decision that they want to…

There are two different viewpoints on abortion. Pro-choice and pro-life. Let’s start with the easy one. Pro-life means that a person is completely against abortion. The pro-life viewpoint is the belief that abortion is considered taking the life a human, which would mean that life begins at conception. People may have this viewpoint for religious values, or even their personal moral values, and believe that abortion for anyone is wrong. Pro-choice is a little bit harder to describe. It doesn’t mean pro-abortion, it literally concerns the word choice. People that are pro-choice believe that it is a person’s personal decision as to whether or not they get an abortion. Somebody may be completely against abortion personally, but may still be pro-choice because they believe that it is a person’s decision and that right should not be…

First is the belief that the mother has right to her own reproductive system and second is the fetus’s right to life. Belief one is centered on abortion being something that a mother should be allowed to choose based on her own ethical and moral beliefs and the belief that the law should not have a say in the decision that is made. Although there are some women that don’t practice abortion themselves they still believe that it’s each individual’s decision to make. On the contrary, some individuals believe that giving mothers the option of abortion is equal to giving a mother the right to take a life legally and some individuals believe that they have an ethical duty to protect the fetus because the fetus is unable to protect him or herself. Persons differ in opinion on both spectrums of this situation but more problems arise because the decision is not black and white but a gray area.…

Abortion is a topic that many feel is controversial. It can not be easily agreed upon for many reasons. The fight for pro-life has to do with religion and the morality of taking a life. On the other hand, pro-choice involves women’s rights as well as a woman’s well being. These two ideas make abortion a subject that is…

The following articles explore how abortion has become an extremely sensitive topic all over the world. Some discuss Pro-Choice: the pro-choice position is favoring or supporting the legal right of women and girls to choose whether or not to continue a pregnancy to term, while others discuss Pro-Life: the pro-life position is that a new human life is created at the moment of fertilization and is, thus, entitled to the same legal protections as any other human being.
