1.0 Business Profile
1.1 Background
CoolBlog is an international brand that specializes in desserts and beverages in a take-away kiosk concept. They are first launched in Singapore in 2005 and expanding their business in
Malaysia by introducing dessert and beverages with 25 flavours and 300 products range. There are more than 230 outlets opening in various places including Muadzam Shah, Pahang which is opening in 2012 and located at MM198-206, Jalan Medan Mewah 12, 26700, Muadzam Shah,
Pahang. The startup cost for opening CoolBlog is about RM 120,000 which includes rent, equipment, raw materials, license and training. Even though the startup cost is quite costly, but they manage to earn profit of RM 30,000 per month which make the startup cost are worthwhile to invest. The outlet becoming more well-known and successful where their customers are mostly from students. The outlet is opening from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m.
1.2 Vision
CoolBlog has outlined a three years growth plan to bring the total number of CoolBlog outlets in
Singapore and Malaysia to at least 150 outlets. This vision was achieved in year 2011.
Therefore, CoolBlog has set another vision in 2014 to raise the total number to 400 outlets in the coming 2 years and to be the leading and largest chain outlets in Malaysia that specialize in desserts and beverages products.
1.3 Mission
CoolBlog mission is to provide customer the finest quality of dessert and beverages in the most efficient time. They also aim to derive satisfaction of "Thanks", "Smile" and "Gratitude" from every Coolblog customer.
