Abstract
Individuals with ASD face many challenges when they are faced with the process of transitioning, whether the transition is from one activity to another or from high school to college or into a career. Many interventions and strategies can be used to make this process easier for these individuals to understand and handle but the amount of time given to transition planning activities is essential. Although, laws have made this process a requirement in most states, the knowledge and available services can be the difference in the success or failure of the transition process for the individual.
