INTRODUCTION OF THE COMPANY
Avari Towers is a part of Avari Hotels Ltd. and offers the modern business traveler every comfort and convenience. It is a Pakistani chain that manages hotels in Pakistan, Dubai and Canada. The founder of this chain, Dinshaw Avari, started out with the historical and legendary Beach Luxury Hotel in 1944 located in Karachi facing the Arabian sea which is still operational to this day but now acts more as a headquarter for the Avari hotels. It is now run by his son Byram Dinshawji Avari, the CEO of Avari Hotels Ltd, and his two sons Dinshaw and Xerxes. Within Pakistan, the 5-star Avari towers are providing their extraordinary services in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. Each of the Avari towers has well furnished rooms with all the salient feature of a 5-star luxury hotel such as a beautiful pool, large gymnasium, delicious International cuisines, relaxing spas and fitness centers and conference rooms. One of its goals is to provide its customers with the best customer service and this is why good customer service is now considered as an asset among them.
EXPLAIN YOUR PROJECT:
We intend to present a report on Avari Towers. Our main focus is going to be on Information Lifecycle Management. Detailed accounts regarding the four phases of Information Lifecycle Management will be given and questions will be addressed specific to each phase. However, on the periphery, we will also consider other aspects of Information Lifecycle Management such as Security concerns, Customer service, Marketing strategies, Email Management and Database Management. Apart from these, a brief focus will also be on Knowledge Management.
WHAT WE INTEND TO DO?
We visited Mr. Khalid Shah who is the I.T. Director of Avari Towers. He provided us with substantial information regarding our queries
