Babe Didrikson Zaharias has many traits that make her the great athlete she is. Even though, her most important one is has ablitity to never give up. Shewould not wilt under pressure and come through and win. In her golf career she won 82 golf toruments including the us womans open and the Babe Zaharias open,named after her. When it seemed all hope was lost she would make the winning shot and get the trophy. Babewasnt just a pro-golfer, In the 1932 summer olimpics she won 2 gold medals and one silver. She may have one another but her infamous stlye of hurdlying was not allowed. When she was yonger she stillwas great at sports like swimming, tennis and baseball. She hit 5 homeruns in one game.     Between 1930 and 1932 she led the team to two finals and a national championship and was voted All-American each season. Didrikson represented the company as a one-woman team in eight of ten track and field events at the 1932 Amateur Athletic Union Championships. In three hours Didrikson single-handedly amassed thirty points, eight more than the entire second-place team, and broke four world records. Her performances in the javelin throw, hurdles, and high jump qualified her to enter the 1932 Olympics, where she again broke world records in all three events. When she returned home, her family was badly in need of money and Babe had to push aside sports to help them. Then, in the year 1933 she began taking lessons for golf. Her first tournament was the Fort Worth Women's Invitational on November 1932; at her second, the Texas Women's Amateur Championship the following April, she captured the title. Babe Didrikson dominated in many other sports, competed in many other competitions, and broke many world records. She later got married to a professional wrestler named George Zaharias.
