The Last Olympian is written by Rick Riordan. It was published in 2009. It is the continuation of The Titan's Curse. It is the final and fifth novel in The Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. It is a fantasy and adventure novel on Greek mythology. The story takes place in modern day New York. Percy knows that as soon as he turns 16 he will have a choice in which he will have to decide to save the world or not. So he leaves with Camp Half-Blood for battle. Kronos is wanting to take over Olympus. They fight the Titan's army and Krons to save Olympus. Killing hundreds of monsters and fighting for their lives. In the end Olympus is victorious and is saved from being tarnished. Paragraph #2
The story is told through first person by Percy Jackson. It's told through the main character's eyes about what he sees throughout the book. The point of view does not change in the book. He narrates his experiences , thoughts and feelings in the book. He tells the story with great detail and feeling. Whenever I read books in this series I draw images in my head and it's like a movie running in my mind and it really helps me visualize the story. Paragraph #3

He is a great swordsman and he is a strong and determined hero of Camp Half-Blood. At the end of the story he turns 16 and starts dating Annabeth. Annabeth Chase is Percy's friend, she is a daughter of Athena and she dreams of being an architect one day. Grover Underwood is Percy's best friend, a satyr who likes to crack jokes. Luke Castellan is A 23 year old demigod who is a son of Hermes. He gave his body to Kronos out of hate for the Olympian gods.     Percy Jackson has to go through the Road of Trials, The road of trials confronts you with takes or challenges. Percy has to face many characters on his road to fix the gods. Percy fights medusa, cerberus, luke and others to get what he has came for, Poseidon's Bolt. His ability to continually beat and out fight opponents allows the Road of Trials to be noticed and to form. The hero takes him to Saint Louis, Las Vegas and back to NYC where he is met by his father. Saint Louis contains a needed pearl so does Las Vegas. This is called the Night or Sea Journey.
