Romero's mural is a way of him showing his attitude towards Los Angeles. One of the ways he does this is by using vibrant colors such as, bright red, bright yellow, and blue. These colors compliment one another and gives off happy emotions. Another way he shows off his attitude towards L.A. is by using imagery such as hearts over cars. This imagery in my opinion implies that Romero believes Los Angeles civilians love their cars. These are some ways Frank Romero shows his attitude towards Los Angeles.

In the quote, "As for "Going to the Olympics," it is part of MCLA's mission to have as many murals from the 1984 Olympic Arts Festival, a Los Angeles civic program timed with the 1984 Olympics, be restored in time for the 30th Anniversary of the games in 2014." The newspaper article, "'Going to the Olympics' Mural To Return to the Hollywood Freeway" it explains how they will be restoring the murals damaged by graffiti. If it weren't for these artist of the murals taking action there would probably not be any restoring of the artworks. I believe Romero's actions were appropriate and he did the right
