Frank Romero representing the car culture with different colored cars and shapes is interesting to me. From
what is shown in the image, Romero thought that at the time, cars came in all shapes, sizes, and colors and the citizens of Los Angeles really demonstrated this by being in many types of cars at the time. Also, the 1st and 5th car from the left have people in a open car with no roof on in, really showing the variety of people's minds of the different types of cars they ride in LA. This demonstrates that many people from all kind of backgrounds wanted to go see the Olympic games too to show how much pride the US has for these events.
Frank Romero was commissioned with other artists in the area to paint a mural to commemorate the 1984 Olympic games that took place in Los Angeles. The cars in this mural signified the car culture at the time and how tastes kept evolving with people obtaining a variety of cars and many people among the Los Angeles community were a part of this culture. Due to the abundance of gangs and graffiti, taggers has sadly tagged over this fantastic mural
