Ballerina Persuasive Speech
Where’s the money
One important question that we came up with was the amount of money ballerinas are making all around the world. The usual amount of money that ballerina's all around the world make, is about $1,000 a week. A normal season for a ballerina includes a 34 to 44 week timeline filled with shows and practices. So on average a ballerina makes about $35,585 a year! Thats a lot of money, how much you might ask? Enough to buy 21,966 chocolate bars bars! Time Constraints
A Prima Ballerina could train for 6 days a week. So, they don’t have a ton of time to relax. On a day that has a performance, it will usually start with a ballet class, and stretching before it. Then, they’ll have rehearsals and some down time throughout the day. …show more content…
Food is considered as fuel in the life of a ballerina, they use it to stay energized. They have no limits unlike some other athletes, they don’t live off of fruits,vegetables, and protein shakes. They submerge their faces in chocolate and get hipped up on coffee. As long as the food they eat keeps them energized and ready to go they are allowed to eat …show more content…
Some dancers would consider an undergraduate program. One great college for dancers is Boston Conservatory. Boston Conservatory is located in Boston MA (duh!) and has ballet, jazz, tap, modern, and ethnic dance styles, students at Boston Conservatory have many opportunities to practice different dance methods and traditions. Another college that you have probably heard of before is, Juilliard School. Juilliard is one of the best dance schools in the whole world, the acceptance rate into Juilliard is about 8% - it is VERY hard to get into. “ Whether you choose Juilliard for the prestige, the location, the opportunities, the networking, or all four of those reasons and more, you possibly cannot choose a better college for dance. “ Link to Juilliard
