Összefoglaló A magyarországi bankok tudásmenedzsment gyakorlatát felmérő, 2007-es tanulmány szerint a bankok többnyire nem rendelkeznek egységes tudásmenedzsment stratégiával, sokkal inkább különböző tudást menedzselő programok futtatásában gondolkoznak. A legtöbben az oktatást, a best practice megosztását, valamint a tudásbázis kialakítását alkalmazzák. Elsősorban az információtechnológiát, a back office és treasury területeket jelölik meg kritikus tudásterületként, amelyek így fontos szerepet kapnak a jövőbeli fejlesztések tervezésében. A fejlesztések főleg már meglévő kezdeményezések megújítására, javítására, továbbtervezésére irányulnak. Jelen esettanulmány célja egy konkrét bank tudásmenedzsment gyakorlatának bemutatása, illetve a továbbfejlesztési lehetőségek vizsgálata.

Áttekintés A Capitals Bank az ország egyik legelső kereskedelmi bankjaként, a kétszintű bankrendszer 1987-es kialakulása óta nyújt teljes körű pénzügyi szolgáltatásokat a lakosság és az üzleti élet számára. A Capitals Bank mögött stabil hátterű nemzetközi banki hálózat áll, mely 99,5%-ban birtokolja a bank részvényeit. A Budapest Bank a lakossági ügyfelek kiszolgálásán túl a kis- és közepes vállalkozásoknak (kkv-knak) nyújt teljes körű banki szolgáltatásokat. A bank a 2000-es évek elején sikeresen bővített fiókhálózatát, mára már száznál több bankfiókkal, kihelyezett hiteltanácsadó pontokkal, szerződött értékesítési irodákkal, ügyfélközpontokkal, valamint a privát banki szolgáltatásokat nyújtó VIP irodákkal áll ügyfelei rendelkezésére.
