1st : the Pitcher, 2nd : the Catcher, 3rd : the First Baseman, 4th : the Second Baseman, 5th : the Shortstop, 6th : the Third Baseman, 7th : the Left Fielder, 8th : the Center Fielder, and finally, 9th : the Right Fielder. The goal of the game is to get the opposing team’s players
out by catching the flying baseball in the air, by catching them off of any of the bases, or tagging them with the ball. As stated before, when batting, the goal is not just to hit the ball as hard as you can, to not get an out or strike. But to also try to hit it wherever there’s an opening that would be hard for the other team to retrieve the ball. On the other hand, If you manage to hit the ball, you’ll need to maneuver on the bases well enough to advance to home plate to score a point for your team. But, without getting tagged, as that will make it an out. However, if you were to make a home run, which is when you hit the ball hard enough that it goes beyond the field, you’ll automatically score a point for your team and just need to run around the said bases.
Now, the reason I like baseball is because it’s more than just playing on the field. All of the players get to play different roles in the game. And that’s just one of the fun things to it. You also have the sense of excitement when you the bat hitting the ball. As well as the feeling of scoring a run, or pitching a strike. Baseball is just the sport I love and that is the best, and easiest way for me to put it. Even to watch, I think that baseball is the best.
