Michael Jordan, a basketball superstar, once said: “I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can’t accept not trying.” We all are destined for something great. There are people destined to be an Olympian. There are people who are destined to win an Oscar or to star in blockbuster movies. But there are people whose steps lead to the making of basketball legends.
Following what Michael Jordan said, how can we prove our worth if we refuse to try? To hone whatever craft we have, we have to take the first step, which is to try and get started.
Getting started
If you are dreaming of making your name a landmark in the hardcourt like Michael Jordan, LeBron James, or Kobe Bryant, go
put your hand on the ball and run, jump, shoot. Gain exposure and experiences by joining an amateur basketball team or taking part in a basketball training camps. These activities would make you learn the proper way of doing the basics: dribbling, shooting, defense, rebounding, and passing. Learning the basics still remain an essential part of becoming the star you want yourself to be.
Taking Part

Basketball is a game of rules, body, and mind. Making a name for yourself is a tough act. Such goal requires sweat and blood, and there’s no shortcut available. Hard work is an ingredient of the game and you’ll be needing a lot of it. To make yourself sharp, you have to stay fit and on track. Most importantly, live up to your goal.
