Sherwood Middle School has just added a new elective class for students to attend. This class is the Basketball Activity Class. The basketball Activity class is and elective that a lot of students are excited for. Around the school, students are saying that this class is their favorite one yet. This elective class also seems to be a popular one. Many students were wishing that they could’ve had the class as one of their electives. This class is one that teaches the game of basketball, and also allows for games, and practice to be put in.
Many students at Sherwood Middle school seem to enjoy to play the game of basketball more than other sports. These sports include football, soccer, tennis, and more. The students at the middle school also enjoy playing at different times of the school day. They will play in the mornings before school starts, and at lunch too. But,, these students don’t always get as much time as they would hope for in P.E. or Team Sports. The teachers realized this and decided that it would be a good idea if the students could participate in a basketball elective class.

The class being taught by John Matalas and Nick Kronko is something that many kids can enjoy. Their pleading to play the game of basketball is now over because of this elective class.
