Their will be one or two referees for each game, and a coin flip will determine who gets the ball first in the game. The game lasts ten minutes or until a team reaches twenty-one points. The clock will be stopped on free-throws and dead balls. A shot inside the arc is worth one point, while a shot outside the arc is worth two, and a free-throw is worth one point. If a game goes to overtime the first team to score two points wins the game. Once a team has reached six fouls, the other team will get two free-throws. Also if a team fouls nine times, that player will get a technical. The game will not stop unless there is a foul or the ball goes out of bounds. After a team scores, the other team rebounds the ball from the hoop and must dribble or pass the ball behind the arc before they can score. Before the game and at any dead ball situation, the player on offense must check the ball into the defense before they can play. If there is a jump ball, the defense shall get the ball. The Olympic committee has not decided yet if they want to put in a twelve second shot clock or not. Substitutions may happen whenever there is a dead ball. One thirty second timeout will be granted to each team per game. Teams are rated by total ranking points of the best three players on each team. If there is a tie there will be a coin flip to decide who gets the higher seed.
