Basketball Vs Soccer
What’s the difference between basketball and soccer? Both are ball games and they have teams, but they have several differences.
First off these two sports are different in a way they use the ball. In both of the ball sports, players dribble and shoot the ball. Basketball players dribble with their hands on the other team soccer players dribble with their feet. The second difference is the amount of players. A basketball team only has 5 players. A soccer team on the other hand has eleven. This is only natural that a soccer field is a larger than a basketball court. The third difference would be the positions. Basketball has three kinds. Guards, forwards, and centers. Soccer only has four. Defenders, Midfielders, and forwards. The biggest difference

Both sports have high instance of ankle and knee injuries, most likely because of the nature of the cutting in both sports. Each sport can be played outside or indoor. They both have a low barrier to entry that has helped their worldwide profile.
Here’s where the differences come in. Basketball is much more influenced by the quickness than speed. This is for the type of conditioning done by both sports. Basketball is a high scoring sport, and soccer is not. Basketball you score with your hands which I said previously and soccer with your feet. Basketball is 5 on 5 and soccer 11 on 11. Basketball is played indoors. Soccer is played outside.
Both soccer and basketball shots are good depending on the specific player. Every player has their own way of moving at any game. It’s like their signature. No one else can have it. When soccer players do their shots, the ball moves fast and smooth with a movement that makes people wonder where the ball is going. When the ball they do special affects with their legs and feet. Basketball and soccer have a different speed of playing. While playing basketball, players have many breaks to rest. Their court is smaller and it is on better conditions than soccer fields. Soccer players have to pass the ball to different players on the same team. They have to pass it as fast as possible or else they’ll

Soccer players are extremely complete athletes; they must be able to run for 6 miles without stopping, jogging and sprinting. Soccer players must start training at a young age because how grueling it is to get in shape for it. They must have really strong core, legs, and a strong heart. Core muscles refer to obliques, abs, back, and chest. Soccer players cannot be out of shape in anyway in order to play. These muscles take years to make as strong as they need to be in order to be a great soccer player. In soccer a strong shot doesn’t just come from having those famously strong leg muscles like Beckham, but it comes from the twist from the core that creates the torque needed to have a powerful shot. The necessity of a strong core in soccer is often under rated, as well as the overall strength and physicality involved in soccer. The legs are famously strong because they tend to be large and hard to miss. However, the shoulders and core must be strong in order to push off other players while running at top speed and dribbling a soccer ball. The obviously strong body part of soccer players are their legs. Soccer players tend to be able to out lift football players in all exercises involving legs. When analysts on ESPN talk about soccer even the guys usually have something to say about the legs because of how defined and largely muscular they are. When soccer players are able to kick soccer ball…

“When I meet a European, the first thing I say is, “I’d much rather watch football than football.” But I’m just teasing them, and they know I’d really rather watch football than football.” (Jarod Kintz). Football and soccer are two very different sports but at the same time they do have some similarities. Football is very much a contact and strength sport and soccer is more of a technique sport. But football does require technique as well, and soccer requires more contact than one might think. Differences include scoring, gameplay, field size, equipment, and game length.…

First off, American football is played with an elliptical shaped ball while a soccer ball is played with a sphere shaped ball. Football players are usually large and strong because of the contact of the sport which requires them padding to protect themselves, including shoulder pads, helmets, and padded pants. Soccer players are usually quite a bit smaller and have to be very well conditioned. They only have shin guards to protect their legs. Both games are played with 11 players on each team. The general idea in each sport like most sports is to score more points than the other team.…

Soccer, to me, is better because it is not as physical. An average 12 high school football players die each year, usually from a concussion or a big hit to the head. I could not even find how many soccer players die each year so i’m guessing none. Football players are more likely to get a concussion because they get hit in the head more than soccer players.…

Another reason to play soccer over other sports is because there are new skills to learn. There are more skills to be mastered in soccer than other sports. The basic skills one will need to master are dribbling, passing, heading, chesting, and trapping. When dribbling keep the ball close to one?s feet, tapping the ball every step; as a result, one should stay in control using both feet. When heading the ball hit the ball just above one?s forehead, either to another player or to one?s feet. When trying to chest the ball, let the ball bounce off one?s chest to their feet. The last skill is trapping. Trapping is stopping the ball when it is kicked with one?s feet, giving in as the…

Also in football you pass it or you run with it. In football you are allowed to touch the ball with your hands. But in soccer you are not. In soccer you score goals in a net. In football you try to get a touchdown or a field goal. Soccer games are shorter than football games soccer games are an hour and a half.
