Hiking in beautiful Turkey Run 2
Hiking has always been a favorite past time of mine. In my hiking experience I have had the pleasure of hiking many beautiful state parks, none of which compares to Turkey Run state park in my opinion. When my brother john and I first arrived at Turkey Run State park we had no idea what was ahead, The park remained hidden by the blanket of tree's surrounding the park. As we entered the park I felt a little disappointed by the sight of playgrounds and a little welcoming center . I had no idea that behind the trees was an absolutely amazing adventure. We took the time to visit the center and to see what nature might lay ahead in the course of our hike, wanting to understand any precautions we may need to take. While still in the visitor center we were able to gaze upon some of the local hummingbirds,racoons and even a Red tailed fox that were eating food left by some of the staff for the animals. After enjoying the close up view of some of the the woods natives we proceeded on our journey through the woods. The first spot we came to was an old flight of stairs made of concrete as we looked into the woods a little further we noticed a old style sway bridge. Very excited we ran down the steps to go investigate the structure. Upon arriving at the bridge we took a moment to admire the structure and to also play . We spent fifteen
