The scene changes were smoothly done by the production crew without much notice from the audience. All the actors and actresses were very good in their roles. The actor who played the Beast was a very tall, large man who
perfectly fit the role. Within this small theater, he was able to make the best of the stage. For Bella, her classic yellow dress was beautifully crafted. The scene of “Be My Guest” was brilliantly choreographed and performed just as lively as in the film version.
The only critique I could find is the origin of a few songs played during the production. There were a few songs I did not recognize being played in the film. However, the music composition the directors selected still fit into the scene nicely.
Any fan of the movie needs to see this show. The music, acting, and sets were amazing. This production consistently rotated between funny, saddening, and upbeat atmospheres all within a few minutes. This adaptation most certainly did not disappoint and I strongly recommend going to the theater to watch this magical musical rendition of the Beauty and the Beast.
