Beca Character Analysis

From the first Pitch Perfect movie, I’ve always enjoyed the main character Beca. As more Pitch Perfect Movies have come out more has been revealed about Beca’s character. As I have watched each I realize that I relate to her in many ways. Both Beca and I can be shy, determined, and enjoy singing and no matter what happens in Beca’s life she is always loyal to her friends. I also realize that just like Beca I have grown in my talents and as a person over the years.

One way Beca and I relate to each other is that we can both be shy. When it comes to her she denies that she can sing and is shy about doing it. I am somewhat the same way and though I like to sing I don’t like to sing in front of people. We have both pushed ourselves and stepped outside of our comfort zones. Beca did so by singing with the Bella’s and I have stepped out of my comfort zone by singing in several choir performances.
As people get to know us there is always more than meets the eye. Much like Beca, I get to know people Before coming out of my shell. One way Beca is outgoing is when Beca changes Bella's style from classic acapella to a more modern style against Aubrey’s wishes one of the leaders at the time. A way I would consider myself outgoing is when I tried out for cheer and decided on taking French.

Another way Beca and I are alike is that we are both determined and loyal to our friends. Beca and the Bellas have faced many challenges but throughout it, all Beca is determined and pushes her friends to be the best they can be. I relate to Beca in this way because school can be very difficult at times. Between schoolwork and cheering, I am determined to always do my best and learn more along the way. I think friendship is another area Beca and I are a lot alike. Even though we both have many things going on at any given time we are always there to support and spend time with our
