Becoming A Journeyman In A Trade

Seeking employment in a trade has been a goal I have wished to accomplish for several years. I've never seen myself as being an office, white collar worker. The reason I chose to apply to this specific trade, is because of the opportunities the apprenticeship in plumbing and pipefitting has to offer. A livable wage, a healthy work environment and the training to become a master in the trade are the three of the many qualities I feel the pipefitter plumbers union has to offer.

I strongly believe I have obtained, over several years in the workforce, qualities that are instrumental to becoming a journeyman in the trade. With working in autoCAD and for being a construction inspector for the EADS group I have gained some basic knowledge in how
both sewage and water lines are designed, and I witnessed them being installed. Meanwhile working full-time for EADS, I have successfully run my own landscaping company in the Johnstown area.

In conclusion I feel that with my diligent work ethics and my ability to lead make me an exceptional candidate for the Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee of plumbers & pipefitters. Thank you for your time and for calling me back for a second interview.
