I honestly think that being a bully is worse because you are doing the pain to others, and thats just not very nice. Being a bully means your sinning against god, and you are practically worshipping the devil and thats never a good thing. Also your doing bad things for society, and everybody you love and you won't have as many friends if you bully people. Most of the time bullies are people that really don't have a good life or a very rich life. If your a bully you will have a less likely chance to make to collage and get a wife, and have kids. Bystandereds start clubs like "stop bullying clubs", or something like that. People get bullied while they are young but if you stand up to them, and fight back they will become your friends, or be scared of you. Bullies become friends with them after they get payback but sometimes you don't even need you fists all you need is your mouth, and feet to move, and speak.

In conclusion I think that bullying is worse, because they don't have any friends, or girlfriends to hang out with. Bystandereds are pretty bad, and very sad to watch. Bullies usally have a very bad life because they sin a lot, and have a family full of crimnals probably. Some bullies just don't like you so they beat you up, and take your lunch money, and run before the principle or cops gets there. Bystandereds usally don't like people that bully so they avoid them as much as they can. Over all people shouldn't bully, because it's mean to others and very rude to other people like a mayor, or

Bullying happens when they are not around either of them people and also some kids are too scared to tell their parents because they don’t know how they will act nor do they know if they will stop getting bullied or if it would happen more. The victims of such actions need to understand that they can get out of that situation and also that they can sometimes do it by themselves because being bullied can mess a child up in the long run(Jacobs and McMahon np). The child can become antisocial or become very insecure about themselves, which no child deserves to go through all their lives. Not only do the people that get bullied become very distressed but also the people who witness the action happening can become very uncomfortable and stressed. These problems with the victims and witnesses well beings can have a long term effect which isn’t good for either of them (Jacobs and McMahon np). Some of these situations lead to physical threats which are the one of the most common types of bullying. Also, most…

In the case of bullying, being a bystander instigates and encourages. The passive accepting of the bullying validates the act. If no one is going to act and punish the bully, then their actions must be ok. Watching gives the bully the attention that they’re seeking to gain from acting in such a manner in the first place. A helpful bystander intervenes and seeks help. Bystanders that do not act suffer several adverse consequences emotionally, as shown in the Eyes on Bullying article, ranging from anxiety to fear. Those who choose not to act when confronted with someone being bullied do so for a variety of reasons. Bullyonline talks a lot about environments fostered around bullying that helps facilitate bystanding. School and work places rely on a power structure that can easily be manipulated. Drew Carberry notes that when looking at a crowded environment, when you see that people are doing nothing, “then that becomes the norm.” Mirroring other people’s actions and norms is typical in socialization. In looking at children’s media, there’s always an episode where a bully ends up having a rough home life or some other tragedy that excuses their behavior, not holding them accountable. Lessons taught as children from “snitches get stitches” to “no one likes a tattle-tail” discourage children and really anyone from speaking out. The idea that one shouldn’t tell on other people is deeply ingrained in…

As stated by Dr. Stuart Twemlow, he “…recommends targeting anti-bullying efforts at either the bullies nor the victims but a third party:bystanders who watch bullying…” He states this because schools that focus on punishing the bullies and counseling the victims report more violence compared to those who focus on educating the bystanders. That way it is beµer to get bystanders to stop the bullying problem before it even begins, as they are the ones that are on the scene at the time. One simple thing from a bystander can help so much in preventing the issue from escalating. In the end, most of us are both the bully and the victim and that bullying is less than that of a contagion, but more of an unfortunate fact of…

. There are many of bullying scenarios where a bystander’s role may require different actions to take place. For example if you are witnessing verbal bullying in the school hallway, as a bystander it would be the appropriate to step in and attempt to end it. This is a situation where not intervening would make you just as bad as the bully themselves. When physical violence is involved stepping in directly is a dangerous action, and puts you at risk. That is not an excuse for you to not intervene at all, but it should not be done the same as simple verbal bullying in the hallway. This would be a time where mentioning what you saw to the police or a teacher would be appropriate and harmless towards yourself, as well as the victim. Stepping in directly could result in a more dangerous situation for the victim, as well as yourself.…
