Being cargous means standing up for someone or something. Rosa parks stood up for her race and wouldn’t give up her seat on the public bus. In paragraph one of source one it states “For Rosa Parks on December 1,1955 courage meant refusing to give up her seat on a public bus.”(Source 1) This hilights that for someone being cargous means they stand up for someone or something. The Monument Men were very brave and cargous. In source two it states “It was left to the Monuments Men to figure a way to save da Vinci’s last supper, painted on the refectory wall of the convent at Santa Maria delle Grazie, before the allies bombed Milan.”(Source 2) This reveals that saving someone or something from total destruction that takes alot of courage to do.
