Benefits of Sports
Do you know why people do sports? Some people do not know the big benefits that come from doing sports. Let us explain first what sports are: sports are generally recognized as activities which are based on physical movement of the body. It has several benefits, I am going to mention only three of them: it makes people healthy, give positive attitude and it can helps countries’ economy.
First, sports make people healthy and beautiful in and out. Many researches proved that 70% of people who do not exercise on their youth suffered from high blood pressure and many health problems that could easily be prevented if they exercise (1). If we compared human healthy with for example machine you can see that they have a lot of similarities such as if you did not use your machine for a long time, it will be rusted and it will not work, like your body if you do not exercise for a long time, you will have a lot of health problems.
Second, sports give people positive attitude. A lot of researches proved that exercise and sports can help with psychological issues (1). Such as, self-esteem, positive thinking and remove all anxiety and tension person have thrown out the day. Also, with the help of exercise and sports, you can make a lot of friendship that will help you in your life. Sports can be entertaining if it includes some competition.

Finally, sports supply countries’ economies by advertisement and building stadiums. We can see from the Olympics that many countries’ economies that hosted the Olympics have benefited from that. Also, we can say sports help keeping the young boys and girls away from problems such as drugs which can in the future help them to work in their countries and support their economy. Sports can help countries relationship and make people who speak different languages speak and understand each other by using only one language which is sport.
