The benefits of stem cells
Stem cell research is one of the most controversial topics in the United States. With millions of
people having life altering diseases and disabilities, this research has the potential to save and give
new life to these people. The potential to get rid of diseases such as Alzheimer, Parkinson's,spinal cord
injury and many more is to great to pass up. Despite all the potential benefits of this research, it is met
with great opposition. Morals and ethics always comes into play when dealing with this type of
research. Even with all the opposition, the potential benefits that it can give can't be ignored. Beau

By using them for stem cell research, it is put to good use.
Scientist and doctors are excited with this research. Medicine is always evolving and we constantly
need to upgrade and innovate new medicine to combat the always evolving diseases.
Everyday many women freeze their eggs. Since this procedure is costly most of the times
multiple eggs are frozen from one woman. Once she gets pregnant, the other eggs are often thrown

away. Donating these eggs to the stem cell research can progress their research more quickly. Doing so
gives many people the faith and hope that they desperately need. Sacrificing these embryos can
challenge anyone's morals and ethics. No one ever wants to use other living things for medicine but this
is necessary to advance medicine. The rewards of this research is just to great to ignore. If the eggs are
just being thrown out, we can put them to better use. Donating these embryos to the research can save
so many lives.
Another way that we can get these embryonic stem cells is from aborted fetuses. While abortion
is always a controversial topic, people still do it. Instead of simply destroying the fetus, why not …show more content…
Embryonic stem cells are so diverse that it can theoretically be
used for all types of diseases and disabilities.
While doctors and scientist have made progress, it is clear that they still have a long way to go.
More research and funding are needed to perfect this method. This is why it is imperative that we need

to continue this research. The more information scientist and doctors get the better chance they find
cures for all other diseases. It will be a tough and painstaking process but no one ever said it was
going to be easy. Medical advances will be necessary to help and combat future diseases. If society
prevents doctors and scientist the needed research to advance medicine people will become seriously
sick. As a result, more people will die.
All medicines and treatments go through major trials and errors. Sometimes they work and
sometimes it's a complete failure. The intention of these research is to always help people
get better. Without sacrifices modern medicine wouldn't be the same. Imagine a world without simple
medicine. A slight headache or scratch can mean serious injury or even death.
Recent studies have shown that People are in favor of stem cell research. According to
