Grendel and Beowulf are different in multiple ways. Grendel was the bad monster destroying the village. Beowulf was the good person helping the village to defeat the monster. Beowulf is the protagonist which helps the villagers so they
could be safe and not get killed by Grendel. Grendel is actually human but is described as an evil monster.
Beowulf and Grendel were alike in many ways. Both of them were humans. They both were killing people and were warriors. They both were protective of something they both cared about. They both were strong and powerful. Grendel and Beowulf were both harsh.
