Specifically, the definition of an enthymeme and how Sanders used it in his speech. That is to say, it could be seen in the section where he was speaking about “The struggle of the people to create a government which represents all of us and not just the one percent” (Sanders DNC). As I understand, by using this device Sanders was able to converse three sentences into one. That being, it is the government's duty to ensure opportunities and wealth are spread evenly among its citizens.
