Beth Alba Character Analysis
Seeing the sticky Twizzler stretch and break, it was painfully obvious that Beth didn't manage to make the two halves even remotely close to equal. Alba deemed it cute, seeing how Beth doubted what to do, instantly knowing that she was going to be somewhat bold as a look at their surroundings preceded her next action. Beth's playful touch along her arm, the girl's gentle grip on her chin, it was driving Alba crazy, making her get closer and closer to her, unable to flee from those blue eyes, dim and mysterious in the light of the theater. In the screen the sensitive man was starting to be aware of the plot thanks to the female protagonist's less attractive yet considerate best friend, making him quickly chase her to the airport, but not Beth …show more content…
In the theater, everyone but two people stared at the screen, the climax of the movie soon approaching as the music rose. Alba's hands went above and beyond the armrest, quick but gentle as the left one hold Beth's nape while the right one cupped her beautiful face. It was just a small tug, a bit of a lean as Alba pushed their bodies closer, and soon her lips were grazing Beth's, a fleeting caress that kept them close, yet barely touching. Alba's shaky brown eyes matched her agitated breath, as she felt on the edge, life going way blindingly fast and yet too slow, making each moment last forever and yet giving no time to think about …show more content…
It was at first just a touch, a small sweet peck, that was harmless on it's own and yet made Alba marvel at how soft, how loving Beth felt. It was so different, like her whole life had been seeing in black and white and now could see colors for the first time. She wanted more, she craved more, she needed more, and soon Alba's hungry lips conquered Beth's. Their first kiss, and as far Alba was concerned, the best of her life so far. There was a tenderness, a care in each gesture, every gasp, that felt different, making her feel warmth and joy, Alba's closed eyes helping her to dive on Beth and Beth only, the rest of the world didn't matter

When he finally does get an offer for a job for floor mopping, he is asked to give 1/3 of his earnings to the man who arranges the job. This represents the widespread corruption propagated by capitalism. In addition, Antanas…

Robert faces innocence, which was a huge factor that affected him where his sister, Rowena Ross was born with a deadly disease called hydrocephalus, in which fluids accumulates in the brain, enlarging the head and potentially causing brain damage especially to younger children. This results in Rowena passing way when she falls out of her wheelchair, where Robert was told to watch her, but was instead, “making love to his pillow” (Findley 15). This results in Robert wanting to enlist to war to escape from the pain and guilt because he was the sole reason of the death of his sister and he shouldn’t have left her sight. It is clear that Robert is hiding his feelings and wants to keep his private emotions to himself away from others around him.…

To say that there is no good in evil is to deny the very reality of evil’s existence. Black and white thinking such as the topic previously stated is what truly can hurt us the most. When you look at moral issues you must acknowledge that it is a grey spectrum, with many different viewpoints. If I told any person who has actually read East of Eden that I admired Cathy? They would think me insane and possibly give me some nasty looks, as well as cross the street when I walk past. But since you have to read this essay, I think it’s fair that I make my point. Cathy is a real go-getter, she does what she has to to make ends meet. She isn’t easily swayed, and has a strong moral foundation, whether or not it’s a good one is a moot point. Lastly, she’s not easily discouraged. Even in the face of direct adversity, she brushes herself off and keeps on trucking.…

The scene was one of cosy domesticity, a man and a woman sharing breakfast after a night out clubbing together. Married? Lovers? Boyfriend and girlfriend, or just a platonic relationship, it could have been any of the three, and the scene would have been mirrored in many homes across Rome. They were normal. Or at least, together, they contained a semblance of normality, which to Kyle, was almost as eerie a sensation as was the morning after his first murder to know that the woman across from him, the one who’d have reason to never trust another man, or allow one to touch her ever again, had entrusted him to hold her in his arms as she slept. And held no regrets for having done so, and not just that. She’d also revealed details to him of her life experiences that she doubted to spoken of with such earnestness and honesty to anyone before him, and he’d returned the favour without a second thought. With her eyes closed, and her soft breathing, and the faintest of snores, but no drooling, she’d appeared so serene and peaceful, and the Army veteran hoped that he’d been in same way responsible for the lack of nightmares.…

But unlike a prisoner who was chained against his will, he trailed after her retreating figure eagerly, his entire awareness wrapped up in a burning need to serve his new mistress, to please her, to do everything possible to bring her satisfaction. He was hers and hers alone; that was all he needed to know. She faced him again when they reached solid ground, suddenly reaching out to wrap a warm hand around his cold, damp fingers. There was a flurry of words he didn't understand, followed by a brilliant flash of gold in her green eyes, and then the world was spinning, turning, whirling past his bewildered gaze so swiftly that he could distinguish nothing beyond splashes of color and the frigid wind that chilled his naked…

All that nervous energy that bounced in him, slammed his heart into his chest, kicked him in his stomach and fried his nerves was all gone and he felt incredibly hollow. Now his face itched from being held in a certain position and his lungs fluttered when they finally expanded. His ribcage was gone and his heart was reluctantly easing itself back to it’s normal pace. He stretched his fingers before him and considered, that maybe, maybe he was overreacting over a crush, but it was L of all people, so he stewed in it. He continued on alone, but didn't feel like walking, so he sat down before one of the films that allowed the survivors to tell their stories during the Holocaust. He half listened half pitter-pattered on his phone until someone sat close to him, he scooted over. Then he felt a very small tap on his arm. He looked up and found a faceless young woman holding this baby, this gorgeous, fat, wide eyed baby. Dark eyes, soft dark skin, and smooth curly hair. The baby gave him a gummy smile and tapped on his shoulder…
