Beyoncé Giselle Knowles: R & B Singer

Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter an R&B singer, songwriter and actress. She was born on September 4,1981, from the mother of Celestine Knowles, who was also a hairdresser at the time. Her father Mathew Knowles, was a sales manager along with a great father. She had one younger sister, Solange, who was also extremely beautiful. Beyoncé was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She started out young and performed in singing and dancing competitions. Her father managed a group of girls called Destiny’s Child, which included her and her younger sister, also two other girls from her elementary school. In the late 90’s she became the lead singer of the group and overtime they became very popular. Beyoncé’s big break was her new album, Dangerously in Love,
released in 2003. The album established her as a solo artist worldwide. Therefore, millions of dollars worth were sold. Counting the seventeen Grammy awards that she has earned, and a fourth world tour underway, she is one of the world’s largest names in the history of music.
