Integrating leadership God’s way into my life is what is most important. After all Jesus did say to go and make disciples of all nations and teach them to obey everything that He commanded His disciples (Matt. 28-18-20). Jesus did not say to sit in church and wait for people to come to ask you about Him. He did not command us to wait for our children to ask questions about creation or God. The other thing to remember from this passage is the fact that Jesus said He would always be with us. We are not alone in our daily lives. As a leader of my household I want to teach my children and remind myself of what Paul wrote to the Ephesians (1:3-6), “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love He predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will— to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given us in the One He loves.” As a follower of Christ this must be known by my children and as a leader I must proclaim this to my children as truth. I will continue to pray and read to them about God and Jesus because it’s the truth and deserve all my efforts to express it to them. With my family as well, the most important verse for them to understand is Matthew 22:36-40. It is a good and important question to have an answer for; “Teacher what is the most important commandment?” Loving God with all my heart, mind, and soul means to love others in my work, church, community, in addition to at home. Of all the things that God has asked us to do, he narrowed it down for us. To put Christ and others in the front of our minds and to think thoughts of them is of the utmost importance to be a follower of Jesus Christ. I can dedicate my life to the Lord by practicing
