Biblical World View Essay
Introduction
Being a Christian doesn’t just mean that you go to church on Sunday’s and Wednesday’s. A Christian is supposed to be just like Jesus Christ in everything that they do. With a business degree and a career in business I am supposed to treat everyone the way Jesus Christ did. The bible tells in Genesis 2:27 that, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him: male and female created he them.” (King James Version) Since mankind is created in the image of God I am to treat everyone the way that I want to treat and serve God. This means that I am to show love towards all and that I am to be honest at all times.
I should show love towards all!
Since mankind is created in the image of God we are to love mankind like we love God. “And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.” (I John 4:16) We are told that because God is love, we are to love because God is in us. The love that we are to show and give does not end with our brothers and sisters in Christ. Jesus informs us that we are to love all. “And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.” (Matthew 23:39) In this verse we learn that we are to love our neighbors. Some of those are not Christians. Some may even hate us for being Christians and following Jesus Christ. Jesus tells us, “But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you”. (Luke 6:27) Some of the people that I may come in contact with or work with in my career may not like me or even hate me for any reason. But no matter what they say or do, I am to love them and show my love for them. Mankind is created in God’s image and we are to love God and all of his human creations no matter how they act towards us.
I am to be

Often times, new believers are encouraged to read through the book of Romans. This is because Paul is able to break down essential aspects of the Christian life in a way that is both probing and encouraging. It covers aspects of the natural world, human identity, relationships, and culture. As with every word of the Bible, this book transcends time and culture and speaks as much in todays’ time as it did to the Roman church to who Romans was originally written. As believers in Christ, it is important to live these truths so that He may use our lives for His glory and honor.…

According to most of the people in the world, one of the biggest problems that we face is not the failing world economy or the growing civil unrest in the Middle East. Instead most people in the world believe that we are the main problem, before any of the other struggles that might be going on. A better way of saying it would be that we as humans are the cause of the problems that we face. Those problems stem from the fact that we as humans don’t always get along with each other. Some people even say that if there weren’t so many “stupid” people in the world, it would be better place to live and there would also be fewer struggles around us. In the Bible we see that mankind has struggled to get along with each other since the fall of Man in the Garden of Eden. Since the Fall of Man, each of us is born with a sinful nature inside of us that makes us want to sin and rebel against what God would want us to do. In fact, God wants us to get along with each other and His Word is a great place to look to when it is difficult to get along with a co-worker or family member. With all of the knowledge of the Bible, and what it’s teaching could help us to do in getting along with others, we as humans still pick and choose what we believe to be the best solution when it comes to dealing with other people; whether it is good or bad for the relationship.…

In Paul’s epistle to the Romans he gives us the foundation of Christian life in regards to how we should not only see the world, but also how we should act in a world that rejects the gospel of Christ. In Romans 1-8 Paul teaches us how we are not able to come to a saving grace through our works, but that it must come from Christ alone, and not only to the Jews, but to the Gentiles also. Paul tells us however, that this will not be easy, but we that we need to remember who is ultimately in control of everything around us.…

The first four commandments focus on the relationship between man and God. They command man to revere God and worship Him only. Further, the Sabbath day should be honored as the day a man focuses on their creator. On the other hand, the other six, focus on the relationship between man and another. The emphasis is that people should live harmoniously with one another, thus eliminating vices such as murder, stealing, disrespect, adultery, coveting and bearing false witnesses (Exodus 20, King James Version).…

One of them is Did Jesus claim to be God? My second focus will be if a person is a Christian, does it matter how they live their life. Finally I will focus on what can the local church do to better communicate God’s love to your community.…

For example, having money is something that we all desire. Grudem clarifies that “while the love of money is evil, money itself is not inherently good or evil. Money is nothing more than a medium of exchange. Money provides people the opportunity to purchase something in God 's creation. In order to accurately and biblically take hold of this opportunity, one must begin with the foundation that nothing is owned unconditionally, but is simply given out by a benevolent God. Once realizing nothing is totally owned, only given by God, one sees that God is incomprehensibly wealthy and that having money is not…

There is currently a major dispute on whether or not the United States Constitution correlates with a Biblical worldview. When the founders wrote the Constitution they wrote it based on what had thrived within many previous civilizations and people groups such as the Roman, the Greek, and the Hebrew which happens to be, the Bible. Research shows that, the U.S. Constitution was written by deriving ideas from several different philosophers, and many principals and passages from the Bible.…

Competing worldviews are breaking out everywhere especially throughout North America. Two sides with vastly differing and incompatible worldviews are being locked in a bitter conflict that permeates every level of society. On one side of the battle is the Christian worldview, and on the other is the Humanist worldview divided into three branches: Secular Humanism, Marxism/Leninism, and Cosmic Humanism. It’s in this essay that we will seek to understand all of the three Humanist worldviews while presenting a strong, honest, truthful, intelligent defense of Biblical Christianity. As believers in and followers of Jesus Christ, we need to consider how our commitment to Him affects not just our political and ethical convictions, but also the way…

Jesus wants us to treat others as equal. Matthew 22:39 says “And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself” (James, 1973). Jesus treated people whom he came into contact with as equals. Although he had the power to walk on water, cause the lame to walk and the blind to see. Jesus still thought himself no greater than those that were around them, he loved them all. From the prostitutes, to the thieves and even the tax collectors, Jesus treated us all the same. What that in part tells us is that, we should take time to care for all those who are around us, not just the ones we think are on our level. Whether they may be seniors, peers, or even subordinates. This is not only the right thing to do, but as time move on it allows others to feel more comfortable about us and improves our relationship.…

However you could argue that the Bible also seems to give priority to law over love or that Christian love comes down to obeying Gods laws. For example ‘Thou shalt have no other Gods before me’ so of course Christians are going to love God as they aren’t allowed to love any other. Neither can they take his name in vein, what I’m trying to get to is that the only Christians that truly love their neighbor as their self and love their enemies are those that completely obey God’s commandments and claim to do it through love, but could it really be because they don’t want to be judged by God at the end of their life, that they want to secure their place in paradise. Therefore if the other laws weren’t…

If we are called to love others, then it would only make sense to want what is best for them. And part of what is best for them, is to judge their lifestyles, but with gentleness. Christians should judge because of love for others. If we love others, we will tell them there is a better way of living- free from the drinking, partying, slander, hate, pride, a money God, etc. Judging them gently, by telling them that their sin isn’t the best way to live and also telling them that we do not hate them as people will help them when the day of judgement comes. When they stand before the throne of Jesus on the day of judgement, they may regret not having listened to the words of the Christian who told them their lifestyle was not the best, when in fact that Christian was only trying to help them, by trying to make sure they accepted Jesus so they could go to heaven. As Christians, if we do not tell them the good news, they may want to continue with their transgressions, not repent, and not confess Jesus with their mouths, souls, and hearts. Without Jesus, there can be no alternative route to heaven. If we don’t tell them of their not so wise choices(judge) now, they may only continue pursuing the transgressions until the day they die- and then it will be too late for them to accept…
