December 1, 2011 Can Cancer be Cured? Cancer is the main disease that kills a lot of people in our time, but most of the people do not know what is cancer? MAKE THIS MORE ACADEMIC According to the National Cancer Institute " Cancer is a term used for diseases in which abnormal cells divide without control and are able to invade other tissues. Cancer cells can spread to other parts of the body through the blood and lymph systems". What has made this disease to be known as a killer a large amount of people all over the world? The data and statistics show how dangerous this disease is because of the large number of deaths caused by this illness. Every year the American Cancer Society shows new statistics about the number of people who become victims of this disease. For example, in 2011 the number of deaths in the US is about 571,950 which means one in four deaths is due to cancer. BASAN WHERE IS YOUR THESIS??? WHY DOES THIS PARAGRAPH END IN A QUESTION? DO YOU HAVE 2 INTRIDUCTION PARAGRAPHS? IF SO THEY MIGHT BE A BIT TOO LONG YOU NEEDS TO SHORTEN AND ORGANIZE THEM BETTER. There is no main idea of your essay. What do you want to talk about? For sure, the scientists have tried to find solution that can treat cancer. For example, the percentage from 2001 till 2005 shows the number of death by cancer decreased by 1.9% .However, because cancer is not a disease which happens in a specific part of a body, so there are verity kinds of cancers. This problem made the scientists to face harder difficulties to find a solution to all the kinds of cancer. They first have found what causes cancer in order to work on. As a result for their researching, they have found that there are some reasons which make a body get cancer but fortunately some of the reasons are controllable. Smoking, toxic elements and radiation are those reasons that cause some kinds of cancer. For instance, the American Cancer Society shows that more than 180,000 have die due to smoking cancer . Here is an easy solution to prevent a kind cancer which is avoid smoking as scientists suggest . What is the hell are you talking about? Find a thesis to talk about, and try to talk about. Are you talking about Cancer? Or the causes of cancer or the results? Find a broader thesis to talk about?
IS THIS A BODY PARAGRAPH?? IF SO YOU NEED NUMBERS ABOUT SMOKING AND STUDIES BY DOCTORS
YOU ALSO NEED TO ORGANIZE THIS BETTER

Stress is singed as another reason of getting cancer. In Life Over Cancer, Keith Block, MD says that there is a strong relation between stress and cancer and he explains how stress causes cancer. For example, he says, “chronically elevated levels of the stress hormone adrenaline increase levels of blood glucose and clotting factors, which…are conducive to the growth and spread of cancer." NEED MORE EVIDENCE HERE. However, in the same time scientists WHICH SCIENTISTS??? IS THIS FROM A REPORT?? advice us how to avoid from stress and show us some ways to do so. They tell us managing the time that we work daily is an effective way not to get stress which most of the time brings cancer. The researches show that many of the patients who have gotten cancer are employed in stressful jobs. They also point out the reasons of this stress which are ''fearing of being late, more overtime due to staff cutbacks, pressure to perform to meet rising expectations but with no increase in job satisfactions and pressure to work at optimum levels-all the time. ". THIS IS INSUFFICIENT EVIDENCE. YOU HAVE NOT CONVINCED ME OR PROVEN THAT JOB STRESS = CANCER. NO NUMBERS NO STUDIES The scientists tell the people that they should take care of themselves and do one thing at a time. They also say that patients will notice a reduction in their stress levels when they make positive lifestyle choices. Since, the scientists have not found all the reasons to give advice, they have tried to find some natural things that do not have any bad effects on a body and can cure cancer. In their findings, green tea is at the top of the importance. Green tea is known by having a high rate of the EGCG which is an antioxidant and believed to protect humans body from different kinds of cancer. Specifically, EGCG does have effect on prostate, breast, and lung cancer. The scientists studied two groups of people who were about getting the prostate cancer. In their studying, they found out 3% of the group who drank 12 to 15 cups of tea every day developed cancer but 30% of those who did not drink green tea developed the cancer of the prostate. Prostate cancer is not the only cancer that green tea can cure; breast cancer is also a dangerous kind of cancer that can be solved by green tea. In their findings it is shown that "Green tea provides chemicals that bind estrogen."MORE DETAILS ON THE STUDY! " This hormone is not then free to stimulate breast cancer cells." They also found that" NO IDEA WHERE THESE QUOTES START AND STOP. CHECK OVER THIS women who consume the greatest amount of green tea before menopause have the least severe forms of breast cancer when the disease occurs. Women who drink green tea are less likely to have recurrences of breast cancer after treatment. Most important of all, "women who consume green tea are 50% less likely to develop breast cancer at all." NEED MORE INFO ON THE ACTUAL STUDIES THAT SHOWED THIS!!! We should be able to answer the question which is what if someone cannot avoid smoking or someone cannot control his or her stress more importantly if someone does not have those kinds of cancer that green tea can solve. Should not have scientists depended on the progress of technology to find another solution?. Here we can say more or less scientists have tried to depend on the advanced technology as an easy and quicker way to cure some types of cancer. For example, PDT, a shorten for Promotion and Display Technology, has developed an effective Photodynamic Therapy which can cure some types of cancer . By depending on this new advanced technology, scientists will be able to cure most of the other types of cancer that cannot be cured by the their advice or natural treatment THIS IS NOT TRUE. THERE IS NO OVERWHLEMING CURE FOR CANCERS. Easily accumulating and identifying the cancer tissues is the responsibility of this technology. This facilitation of finding the kind of cancer lets this tool to work its own which is destroying the cancer cell that the photosensitize entered. It sounds scary but the scientists make the patients sure that all the operation will be done with no pain an more interestingly that patient can be out of the hospital the same day when the operation is done . For many people who have become victims of cancer this advanced technology may be a dream which they think never be achieved. THIS IS VERY UNCONVINCING YOU DO NOT EXPLAIN WELLL WHAT THIS TECHNOLOGY IS NOR DO YOUGIVE ANY DATA ABOUT ITS PROVEN EFFECTIVENESS YOU NEED OT FIND ANOTHER STUDY However, using this tool in the upcoming weeks tells them that is not a dream. For example, Avni Sali, an Australian professor and the Foundation Director of National Institute of Integrative Medicine in Melbourne, is going to use the tool in the upcoming meek. From the begging, he is going to chose some patients who have some common and serious cancer to cure them and then any other ones. In short, the large amount of people who die every day in any country of the world lets us say we are still in a big war. This war may not be done by solider however, the scientists take action this time to overcome the enemies. Avoiding from what cause cancer is essential as the scientists say but what should the scientists do if there are people who have gotten addicted with smoking even though they know that is a step for getting cancer. Do not think that we are kidding when we say our great enemy can be killed easily if we take a seat and having some cups of green tea. How much should a patient face pain while we are in the twentieth century which called the century of advanced technology. Well, technology has played as what it is by treating some kinds of cancer as green tea and the scientists advice do . The question which is asked when all the kinds of cancer can be cured ? I think it is better for the advices ,the natural resources or the advanced technology to answer this question which many of the patients are eager to hear .

THE GREEN TEA PARAGRAPH IS GOOD BUT YOU NEED TO REWORK YOUR OTHER PARAGRAPHS – THE ONE ON NOT SMOKING AND STRESS ARE NOT CONVINCING AND YOU GIVE NO DATA, FINDGINS, TECHNIQUES STUDIES DR REPORTS. YOU NEED TO DO SOME MORE RESEARCH. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE LAST PARAGRAPH STUDY. NO DATA ABOUT ITS EFFECTIVENESS.
It is too messy, and check your thesis again. And try to follow your thesis and manage your quotations. There are a lot of good information in your essay, but manage it well. So your essay could be about the cause of cancer and expand your body paragraph on your thesis. Then send it back, and then I will check it for you.

“…A person is either with this court or he must be counted against it, there be no road between.” This is basic thinking for genocide and the way genocide works. If you are against the group in power then you are as good as dead to them. In the crucible this is exactly what happens, the court inflicts fear upon the people and tells them they are either with or against the court. This was in certain ways a form of genocide and many acts of genocide have occurred. In Cambodia major genocide occurred in 1975 and was very similar to that of the crucible which is why these forms of hysteria connect without a doubt.…

Cancer is caused by abnormal behaviour in cells, so it's helpful to understand the difference between a healthy cell and a cancerous cell. Cancer cells are set apart by a few characteristics, including unchecked growth and reproduction. Healthy cells will stop reproducing when they receive signals from nearby cells to do so; cancer cells no longer respond to these signals. Most cells will also cease dividing and reproducing if there's an error in their DNA (known as a mutation). Cancerous cells, by contrast, reproduce despite the damaged DNA and take on powers of immortality instead of dying off. And, finally, while healthy cells will stay put, cancerous cells will move randomly around the body, spreading cancer and making it more difficult to treat. If the reason behind why cancer cells do this would be known, a cure for cancer could be made: the chemical that causes the cancer cells to react could be avoided, and therefore cancer would…

Cancer is a group of diseases that deal with the uncontrolled growth of cells. A tumor refers to a collection of abnormal cells; some of them are known as benign tumors. Benign tumors do not become a cancer unless they start spreading and growing. Once these tumors begin to grow and multiply they become a cancer. There is screening for cancer available but only colon, breast, cervical and prostate cancer screenings have been known to be effective. Colon cancer or colorectal cancer is the leading cause of deaths in Americans younger than 85 years old. This type of disease develops in the rectum or colon, a person might not know when the tumors grow or begin to spread without screening. For this reason it is recommended that all people over the age of 50 get checked, (Bernard, 2006).…

Everywhere we live, we face many social problems. Considering the amount of social problems people encounter in their life is a tremendous amount but do all of them have solutions? Also, do all of these people learn something from their own social problem? In Leading The Way: Young Women’s Activism for Social Change edited by Mary K. Trigg, this anthology includes essays by young activists. In chapter twelve, Giving Voice to the Unheard by Kristen Lyons Maravi, she mentions about her own social problem with poverty and how much it had affected her. Also, she finds her own solution to her problem. Moreover I would like to compare this chapter with another chapter because these two chapters are very similar to each other, chapter one, Going Back Home by Kristy Clementina Perez. Perez discusses that she grew up in Perth Amboy struggling to figure out her place in the world. Also Perez mentions, when she was old enough to realize that life was imperfect and before she knew that some people lives were more difficult than others. Even before she added the words “difference” and “inequality” to her own vocabulary. Even though Perez discovered the world isn’t perfect, she wasn’t scared of poverty because she’s very familiar with it already. She also finds a solution to her own social problem like Maravi.…

Words are powerless when looked at individually but they have the potential for good or evil, when someone who can properly use them to his or her advantage. That is what Nathaniel Hawthorne quote means, and I fully agree with him. An example of words being used for evil could be a dictator trying to convince his people that he is best for the country. An example of words being used for good could be a civil rights activist trying to persuade people to get along and to treat everyone with respect no matter what race they re Though words can also be used for evil by anybody just by using profanity. Those words can make someone furious and the person succeeded in insulting them. The same goes for words used for good, anyone can give a compliment and can make someone happy.…
